SUCCESS IS A PROCESS

🏃‍♂️💨 Usain Bolt — 9 Olympic golds. 3 Games. Less than 2 minutes on the track.
💰 $119 MILLION earned. That’s over $1 MILLION per second.

But here’s the truth most people miss:
Those 2 minutes of glory were built on YEARS of relentless training, discipline, and sacrifice.

Success isn’t instant — it’s a process.
Too many chase the outcome, blinded by results, forgetting that who you become matters just as much as what you achieve.

🌱 Embrace the journey.
🚶 Focus on the step in front of you — not the whole staircase.
💡 Build the foundation, and success will follow.

STOP FIGHTING THE WRONG BATTLES

Men aren’t weak. They just waste their strength on things that don’t matter. A man’s energy is his greatest weapon—but here’s the harsh truth: Most men burn it on meaningless fights while the real war for their future goes unchallenged. They argue over opinions. They chase people who don’t respect them.
They pour their energy into proving themselves—while their purpose dies in silence. And that’s why they stay stuck. They never stop to ask: “Is this battle even worth it?” Back to homepage

The 7 Battles That Separate Weak Men from Strong Men

1. Fighting for Approval vs. Fighting for Purpose

Weak men live for other people’s opinions. They say “yes” when they want to say “no.” They shrink themselves just to be accepted. But here’s the reality: A man who lives for approval will die without purpose. Strong men don’t fight to be liked—they fight to fulfill their mission. They live by one rule: If you live for applause, you’ll die by criticism. A weak man craves permission. A strong man moves—whether people approve or not.

2. Fighting for Temporary Pleasure vs. Fighting for a Legacy

Weak men fight for what feels good right now.
They chase quick pleasure:
💰 Fast money
🍻 Cheap highs
💔 Empty relationships

But in doing so, they trade power for comfort. Strong men fight for their future. They know true power comes from sacrifice—doing the hard things today to own tomorrow. While weak men chase distractions, strong men build a legacy—one that echoes long after they’re gone. Your future is being decided right now by the battles you choose.

3. Fighting Ego Battles vs. Fighting for Mastery

A weak man’s pride is his prison. He argues to be right. He defends his fragile ego. He fights every insult—while his real power slips away. But strong men understand: Your ego won’t make you great. Mastery will. They don’t waste energy proving themselves to people who don’t matter. They invest their strength into becoming unstoppable. The ultimate flex isn’t arguing—it’s winning in silence. Let small men chase arguments. You chase excellence.

4. Fighting to Be Seen vs. Fighting to Be Irreplaceable

Weak men crave attention. They scream for validation. They beg to be noticed—even when they’ve done nothing to earn it. Strong men don’t fight to be seen—they fight to be undeniable. They don’t chase clout.
They build so much value that the world has no choice but to notice. When you’re truly great, you don’t beg for recognition— the world can’t ignore you. Back to homepage

5. Fighting for Weak Habits vs. Fighting for Discipline

The habits you accept shape the man you become. Weak men lose power by giving in to quick gratification:
Mindless entertainment, Junk food, 🔞 Porn etc. These habits seem harmless— but they drain your drive, dull your ambition, and weaken your mind. A man who can’t control his impulses will never control his future. Strong men fight for discipline. They understand one truth: The world bows to a man who masters himself. If you can’t defeat your weakest habits, you’ll never unlock your strongest potential.

6. Fighting Alone vs. Fighting with a Brotherhood

A man who fights alone is easy to break. Weak men isolate themselves. They think asking for help makes them weak. But the strongest men know: Iron sharpens iron. They surround themselves with men who: Push them forward, Hold them accountable, Refuse to let them stay weak.

7. Fighting Without God vs. Fighting With Power

A man disconnected from God is a man disconnected from his true power. He relies only on himself—
and eventually, that power runs out. But a man who walks with God moves with purpose and authority.
He doesn’t fight aimlessly—he fights with divine backing. You will never become the man you were created to be if you leave the One who created you out of the picture. Real strength is spiritual. If your soul is weak, everything else will fall apart.

The Truth

Men are not weak by nature—
Men become weak by the battles they choose.

WHERE ARE THE MEN?😮

The world is in desperate need of men—men whose integrity and honor remain steadfast regardless of the trials they face. Men who cannot be bought or sold, whose hearts and minds are anchored in truth, and whose courage remains unshaken in the face of adversity. These are men who fearlessly stand for righteousness, who call sin by its true name, and whose consciences are as steadfast as a compass pointing true north. Back to homepage

Men who, despite the pressures of society, will stand firm for what is right, even when the weight of the world seems to threaten their every conviction. This is the kind of leadership the world longs for—men of character, courage, and conviction.

What Has Happened To Men Today?

But what has happened to men today? The changes in men, particularly in terms of their principles and moral fiber, are deeply troubling. Many find themselves compromised by the allure of materialism, power, or convenience, allowing their values to be swayed or lost altogether. In a world that constantly pushes the boundaries of right and wrong, men are often tempted to conform to societal expectations, even when they conflict with what is truly honorable. The pressure to succeed, to accumulate wealth, or to gain status often takes precedence over the pursuit of truth and justice.

The changes in men’s character are influenced by a variety of factors. One of the primary influences is the erosion of societal values.

In an age where moral relativism has become widespread, where right and wrong are often seen as subjective, the clarity of moral absolutes has been clouded. Men, particularly the younger generation, are increasingly conditioned to accept compromise as a norm. The media, social trends, and even political movements sometimes promote a narrative that rewards conformity and expedience rather than integrity and righteousness.

Back to homepage

Breakdown of Community and Family Structures

Furthermore, the breakdown of community and family structures has played a significant role in shaping men’s behavior. In past generations, men were often raised in environments that emphasized discipline, duty, and the importance of upholding a moral code. Today, however, with many families struggling or broken, and with communities becoming increasingly disconnected, the moral compass that guided past generations is weakening. Without strong role models or the reinforcement of strong values, many men are left to navigate the complexities of life without a firm foundation.

The pressures of modern life also contribute to these changes. The pursuit of success in a materialistic world can sometimes overshadow the pursuit of a meaningful, purpose-driven life. In the hustle to achieve financial success or professional recognition, the desire to stand firm in one’s principles can sometimes be seen as a liability. Men, like everyone else, are often influenced by the rapid pace of modern society, which rewards quick decisions and immediate results over thoughtful reflection and moral courage. Back to homepage

Yet, the world still calls for men who will rise above these influences—men who will remain true to their convictions, regardless of the cost. We need men who are unyielding in their commitment to justice and righteousness, who will call out sin, not out of judgment, but from a place of unwavering love for what is right. We need men whose consciences are aligned with their duty, whose actions are guided by the compass of truth.

Yes, the greatest want of the world is not for riches or power but for men who embody the virtues of honesty, courage, and integrity. The changes in men today are influenced by societal shifts, the breakdown of traditional values, and the pressures of modern life. However, the call remains for men who will stand firm in their convictions and who will, with unshakable resolve, stand for what is right—even when it is difficult or unpopular. The world desperately needs men of integrity, men who will inspire change and lead with truth.

MOVING WITH TIME

The Dawn of a Paperless Society is at hand. Yes, in our rapidly advancing digital age, the concept of a paperless society is no longer a distant ideal—it is becoming a reality. With the proliferation of technology in every aspect of life, the need for paper-based communication, documentation, and record-keeping is diminishing at an unprecedented pace. From personal communication to global commerce, industries are increasingly adopting digital solutions, transforming the way we live, work, and interact.

Back to homepage

One of the driving forces behind this shift is the widespread adoption of electronic devices and cloud-based storage. Smartphones, tablets, and laptops have replaced traditional notebooks, while online platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft OneDrive have rendered filing cabinets obsolete. Digital signatures and online forms have streamlined processes, allowing businesses to operate with greater efficiency and fewer physical resources.

Just like what happened in 1997, both cameraman and pilot lost their jobs. Remember Kodak company? It had about 160,000 employees. And about 85% of the world’s photography was done with Kodak cameras. With the rise of mobile cameras over the past few years, Kodak Camera Company is out of the market. Even Kodak went completely bankrupt and all his employees were fired.

At the same time many more famous companies had to stop themselves. Like HMT (clock), Dyanora (TV), Murphy (Radio), Nokia (Mobile), Rajdoot (Bike), Ambassador (Car), none of these companies had bad quality. Why are these companies out in the market?

Because they could not change themselves over time. 😮

Back to homepage

Standing in the present moment you probably don’t think how much the world could change in the next 10 years! And today’s 70%-90% jobs will be completely over in the next 10 years. We are slowly entering the era of “Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

UBER is just a software name. No, they have no cars of their own. Yet today the world’s largest taxi-fair company is UBER.

Airbnb is the largest hotel company in the world today. But funny thing is they don’t own a single hotel in the world.

Similarly, examples of countless companies like Paytm, Ola Cab, Oyo rooms etc can be given.

There is no work for new lawyers in America today, because a legal software called IBM Watson can advocate much better than any new lawyer. Thus, almost 90% of Americans will not have any jobs in the next 10 years. The remaining 10% will be saved. These will be 10% experts.

The new doctor is also sitting down to work. Watson software can detect cancer and other diseases 4 times more accurately than humans. Computer intelligence will surpass human intelligence by 2030.

90% of today’s cars will not be seen on the roads in the next 20 years. Leftover cars will either run by electricity or hybrid cars. The roads will slowly become empty. Gasoline consumption will decrease and oil producing Arab countries will slowly become bankrupt. Back to homepage

If you want a car you have to ask for a car from a software like Uber. And as soon as you ask for a car, a completely driverless car will come and park in front of your door. If you travel with several people in the same car, the rent of a car per person will be less than a bike.

Driving without driver will reduce the number of accidents by 99%. And this is why car insurance will stop and car insurance companies will be out.

Things like driving on earth will no longer survive. Traffic police and parking staff won’t be required when 90% of vehicles disappear from the road.

Just think, there used to be STD booths in the streets even 10 years ago. All these STD booths were forced to close after the mobile revolution came in the country. Those who survived have become mobile recharge shops. Again online revolution in mobile recharge. People started recharging their mobile online sitting at home. Had to replace these recharge shops again. Now these are just mobile phones to buy and sell and repair shops. But this will also change very soon. Mobile phone sales are increasing directly from Amazon, Flipkart.

Entrance In, Entrance Out! – A Reflection on Perspective and Perception

Walking into a new environment can often be an enlightening experience. Recently, entering a restaurant for the first time offered a surprising lesson about the power of words and the limitations of familiar concepts. I entered through a door clearly labeled “Entrance” and expected to leave through another labeled “Exit.” Instead, I found myself at another door labeled “Entrance”—but this time, it was the way out.

At first, the mismatch between expectation and reality created a moment of hesitation. My mind was conditioned to associate “Entrance” with entry and “Exit” with departure. This simple difference in wording made me pause, unsure of whether I could use the door. Thankfully, I followed a group of students who confidently used the “Entrance” to leave, which reassured me to proceed. Back to homepage

This seemingly trivial experience highlighted several profound insights:

1. The Power of Words to Shape Perception

Words are powerful symbols that define how we interpret and navigate the world. “Entrance” and “Exit” are terms most of us have internalized as opposites, creating a mental framework that defines movement. Seeing “Entrance” used for exiting challenged this framework. This disconnect between language and expectation highlights how deeply words influence our thought patterns.

Sometimes, our reliance on labels limits us. When faced with unfamiliar terminology or an unexpected application, we may hesitate, question, or doubt ourselves. It’s a reminder that words can either expand our understanding or confine us to rigid ways of thinking.

2. Breaking Free from Conditioning

The experience serves as a metaphor for how conditioning affects decision-making. We often rely on familiar cues and norms to guide us, but life does not always adhere to these patterns. Like the “Entrance” used for exiting, life often presents situations that defy conventional wisdom or standard labels. This experience encourages us to embrace flexibility and trust our instincts rather than rigidly adhere to preconceived notions.

Had I not observed others using the door, I might have remained stuck, questioning whether I was “allowed” to leave through it. This highlights the importance of breaking free from mental barriers that are often self-imposed due to conditioning. Back to homepage

3. The Role of Others in Providing Guidance

The students who confidently walked through the door became an unexpected source of reassurance. Their actions underscored the importance of social learning and the role of others in helping us navigate uncertainty. In moments of doubt, observing others can provide clarity and courage.

This also serves as a reminder of how our actions influence others. Just as I followed the students’ lead, we unknowingly serve as guides for those around us. Being mindful of this responsibility allows us to act in ways that inspire confidence and provide direction for others.

4. The Dual Nature of an “Entrance”

The idea of an “Entrance” being a way out is a beautiful paradox. It challenges the linear thinking that defines movement as either “in” or “out.” Life, too, is filled with such dualities. An ending is often a beginning in disguise, just as leaving a place can be the first step toward entering a new phase of life.

This small observation invites a broader reflection: how often do we limit our understanding of concepts to one-dimensional meanings? A door marked “Entrance” can just as easily lead us out. Similarly, situations that seem like obstacles can be opportunities in disguise, and what feels like a loss may be a gateway to something new.

5. Embracing Uncertainty and Moving Forward

Ultimately, the experience illustrates the importance of moving forward despite uncertainty. The unfamiliar wording could have caused hesitation, but the students’ confidence and my willingness to follow their lead allowed me to act. This is a lesson in embracing ambiguity and trusting the process. Back to homepage

Life rarely provides clear, straightforward signs. We encounter situations where traditional labels or expectations fail us, leaving us to rely on observation, intuition, and trust. In such moments, the courage to take a step forward—despite confusion—becomes essential.

Reflection

The simple act of entering and exiting a restaurant turned into a thought-provoking lesson about perspective, language, and adaptability. It reminded me that the terms and labels we use are tools, not limitations. When faced with unfamiliar situations, it’s important to remain open-minded and flexible, allowing our instincts and the actions of others to guide us.

As we navigate life, let’s remember that an “Entrance” can also be an “Exit,” and what may seem like a closed door could lead us into a new and unexpected opportunity. In these moments, it is our willingness to adapt, observe, and move forward that determines our progress.

𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐅𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐘 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how so much of what we do is guided by goals we aren’t even aware of. It’s funny how our minds work, right? We have these hidden motivations pushing us forward, sometimes without us even realizing it. And that’s where learning comes in – it’s like this endless adventure that keeps us curious, nudging us out of our comfort zones and into something new and exciting. Back to homepage

CALLED TO LET GO

Back to homepage

When I take a moment to really look into God’s holiness, to gaze upon His loveliness, suddenly everything else—the noise, the worries—becomes like shadows in His light. In those moments, I’m reminded of the reason I live: to worship Him.

The Sabbath isn’t just an ancient command or a day to tick off. It’s God’s personal gift to us—created for our benefit. Think about it: He blessed this day, made it holy, and rested, inviting us to do the same. It’s the one day of the week where we’re called to let go of everything and rest in His loving arms.

What an incredible God we serve—He knows we need this! A day where we can breathe deeply, surrender our cares, and trust Him fully. Life can feel overwhelming, but the Sabbath is a reminder that we don’t have to carry it all alone.

FINDING BALANCE

Back to homepage

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what “balance” truly means. For so long, I believed that balance meant giving equal time and attention to everything in my life – work, family, friends, hobbies… you name it. But somewhere along the way, I realized that trying to juggle everything equally was actually making me feel more overwhelmed and less fulfilled.

Balance, I’ve learned, isn’t about perfectly dividing our time. It’s about deciding what matters most and giving ourselves permission to focus on that ONE Thing – even if it means letting go of something else.

For me, that ONE Thing is family. It’s those little moments that matter – the ones that often slip through the cracks when we’re too busy trying to “do it all.” It’s not about how many hours we spend together, but how much heart we put into those moments. It’s that feeling when we all gather around the table, sharing stories, laughing until our sides hurt, and feeling like the whole world has just paused for us.

It’s realizing that a quick chat while driving the kids to school, a surprise ice cream outing on a random Tuesday, or a warm hug after a long day can mean so much more than hours spent under the same roof but miles apart. These moments aren’t grand or planned – they’re the ones that happen when we let go of the idea that we need to be perfect and just be present.

I’ve come to see that the quality of time we spend with our loved ones can have a lasting effect, a ripple that touches every part of our lives. It’s the memories that our kids carry into their own futures, the values that shape who they become, and the love that strengthens with each shared moment.

So, I’m choosing to redefine balance. I’m choosing to put my heart where it feels fullest. I’m learning to let go of what doesn’t matter as much and hold on a little tighter to what does. I’m embracing the messiness, the imperfection, and finding peace in knowing that it’s okay not to do it all.

THE HOLE

Back to homepage

When I was a child, one of the most thrilling beach activities was burying ourselves in the sand. It wasn’t about the benefits—just pure fun, following the lead of friends who would dig a hole big enough to swallow our entire bodies, leaving only our noses exposed so we could breathe. In hindsight, it was risky. A gust of wind or an accidental breath could send sand into our lungs, potentially causing serious harm. But as kids, danger was far from our minds, and we were lucky nothing bad ever happened.

What we didn’t realize then was that burying our bodies in the sand might have had some unexpected health benefits. The sand’s warmth and pressure could have been subtly therapeutic, offering a natural form of relaxation and healing that we, as carefree children, never considered.

Fast forward to a recent beach trip—I was about to dig a hole, reliving those childhood memories, when I stumbled upon a curious hole already in the sand. It was clearly intentional, not just a random dip. I couldn’t help but wonder what creature had created it, making its home beneath the surface. I pondered the possibility of a hidden world down there, with tiny beings living their lives just out of sight. I didn’t want to disturb their home just to satisfy my curiosity, so I simply stared, fascinated by the uniqueness of life around me.

An idea struck me: What if I buried myself near this mysterious hole? But then, caution crept in. What if those creatures reacted differently? A bite could lead to an allergic reaction, or worse. I hesitated, and in the end, chose not to bury myself, opting instead for a swim.

I missed out on the potential benefits of that sandy embrace, but I left the beach with a deeper appreciation for the unseen worlds around us and the simple, yet profound, mysteries of life. 🌊🌞

In Times of Trial Cling To His Promises

Gold is tried in the fire, that it may be purified from dross; but faith that is purified by trial, is more precious than refined gold. Look upon trials in a reasonable way, no murmuring and discontent. In times of trial, we must cling to God and His promises.

The refining furnace is to remove the dross. When the Refiner sees His image reflected in you perfectly, He will remove you from the furnace. You will not be left to be consumed or to endure the fiery ordeal any longer than is necessary for your purification.

God loves you and He wills to accomplish something in you for your own good. Look up! He is able to help you and take you out from your trouble. Trust Him with all your heart.

10 Lessons From The Coffee Bean: A Simple Lesson to Create Positive Change by Jon Gordon.

1. You have the power to transform your environment. The coffee bean does not allow the boiling water to change it. Instead, it changes the water into something delicious. In the same way, you can choose not to let negative people or situations change you. Instead, you can choose to be a positive force in the world.

2. Your attitude is contagious. Just as the aroma of coffee can fill a room, your attitude can spread to those around you. If you are positive and upbeat, others will be more likely to be positive as well.

3. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Just as a single coffee bean can flavor a pot of coffee, a single act of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s day.

4. Don’t be afraid to stand up for what you believe in. The coffee bean does not dissolve in the boiling water. It stands firm and maintains its identity. In the same way, you should not be afraid to stand up for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone.

5. Be willing to go the extra mile. The coffee bean is roasted and ground before it is used to make coffee. This is a process that takes time and effort. In the same way, you should be willing to go the extra mile to achieve your goals.

6. Don’t give up. The coffee bean is subjected to high temperatures and pressure during the brewing process. But it does not give up. It continues to release its flavor until the very end. In the same way, you should never give up on your dreams.

7. Be a source of inspiration to others. The coffee bean is a symbol of hope and optimism. It shows us that even in the midst of difficult circumstances, we can still find ways to make a difference in the world.

8. Live your life to the fullest. The coffee bean is used to make a delicious and enjoyable beverage. In the same way, you should live your life to the fullest and enjoy all that it has to offer.

9. Make a positive impact on the world. The coffee bean is a valuable commodity that is enjoyed by people all over the world. In the same way, you can make a positive impact on the world by using your talents and abilities to help others.

10. Be a coffee bean! The world needs more people who are like the coffee bean. People who are positive, kind, and willing to make a difference. So be a coffee bean! Be a force for good in the world!

EXTRAORDINARY IN AN ORDINARY ENVIRONMENT

“Imagine this: a world-renowned violinist, Joshua Bell, gracing the bustling New York subway with his mesmerizing music. For 45 minutes, he poured his soul into the strings of a violin worth millions, playing one of the most intricate pieces ever composed.

Yet, amidst the chaos of commuters rushing by, only a handful paused to listen. A couple clapped, and he collected a mere $30 in tips. Little did anyone know, they were witnessing brilliance in its purest form.

Just days prior, Joshua had faced a similar scene, his talent seemingly lost in the crowd. But here’s the twist: this same musician sold out a prestigious Boston theater, tickets averaging $100 each.

What does this tell us? That sometimes, genius lurks in the most unexpected places, waiting to be discovered. It’s a poignant reminder that extraordinary talent can be overlooked and undervalued in ordinary environments.

But here’s the kicker: when these individuals recognize their own worth and step into environments that honor and appreciate them, magic truly happens. They thrive, they soar, and they shine like never before.

So, if you’re feeling undervalued or unseen, remember this story. Trust your gut. Listen to that inner voice urging you to seek out spaces where your brilliance is recognized and celebrated.

You deserve to be appreciated. You deserve to be valued. Don’t settle for anything less. It’s time to go where you’re truly cherished.”

Why Pacific and Atlantic Ocean Do Not Mix?😲

Ever wondered why the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans refuse to mingle? 🌊Despite both being in liquid form, they steadfastly maintain their boundaries! 🤔 The secret lies in their distinct densities, temperatures, and salinities, forming a natural barrier known as the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Whatever the scientific explanation, the result is clear – no mixing.

This got me thinking about the undeniable separation between good and bad people. Just like these oceans, they may appear to blend, but it’s an illusion. The good and the bad can’t coexist indefinitely; one prevails, and the other fades away. 🌅 Grateful for a God who governs the Universe, ensuring justice and order.

There is no time or place in which it is inappropriate to offer up a petition to God. There is nothing that can prevent us from lifting up our hearts in the spirit of earnest prayer. In the crowds of the street, in the midst of a business engagement, we may send up a petition to God, and plead for divine guidance.

We may speak with Jesus as we walk by the way, and He says, I am at thy right hand. We may commune with God in our hearts; we may walk in companionship with Christ. When engaged in our daily labor, we may breathe out our heart’s desire, inaudible to any human ear; but that word cannot die away into silence, nor can it be lost. Nothing can drown the soul’s desire. It rises above the din of the street, above the noise of machinery. It is God to whom we are speaking, and our prayer is heard.

Every earnest petition for grace and strength will be answered. Ask God to do for you those things that you cannot do for yourselves. Tell Jesus everything. Lay open before Him the secrets of your heart; for His eye searches the inmost recesses of the soul, and He reads your thoughts as an open book. When you have asked for the things that are necessary for your soul’s good, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Accept His gifts with your whole heart; for Jesus has died that you might have the precious things of heaven as your own, and at last find a home with the heavenly angels in the kingdom of God.

Blessed To Have Life!

A wealthy father and his son went shopping in an expensive shopping mall. On their way back to their car, a poor boy approached them. He cried.

“Please help me sir! I don’t have any more clothes to wear”

The rich father threw a glance at the poor boy and felt compassion for him. His clothes were ripped and shredded.

“How old are you, little boy?” he asked him.

“I’m ten, sir” he responded.

Then the rich father said.

“Well, my son is ten too, and I presume that his new clothes would fit you”

The father turned to his posh-looking son.

“Jeff, don’t you think it would be generous of you to spare some of your new clothes we have bought? We could still come shopping tomorrow”

The boy whispered.

“It’s fine, dad”

The rich father then opened their shopping bag and took out few clothes which he handed to the poor boy. His face lit up in excitement.

The father then inquired.

“May I know where you live?”

The poor boy replied.

“I live under the bridge, right down the street”

He expressed deep gratitude, and watched the father and his son as they walked into their car and drove away.

Three months later, the rich father drove down the street, looking for the poor boy under the bridge. When he found him, he took him to the car and brought out boxes of clothes, shoes, bags and toys. He said.

“They’re my son’s belongings but I’m giving them all to you now”

The poor boy was surprised and couldn’t stop crying. He said.

“But how about your son? Wouldn’t he need these any longer?”

The rich father uttered.

“No, because he is in heaven now. My sweet little boy died some weeks ago of terminal cancer. He had lived with cancer for three years, and we had known all along that he was going to die, so it was emotionally very difficult to watch him enter the final days of life.

Do you know that on his deathbed, Jeff said to me ‘daddy when I’m finally gone, could you give all my belongings to the poor boy we met outside the mall? The boy who has nothing, wears rags and sleeps under the bridge”

The father paused for a moment, with tears in his eyes, he concluded.

“You may be poor, but you have no idea how blessed you are to have life, something that money can’t buy. I could have bought a hundred lives for my son if it was possible, but no. You may have envied my son’s expensive lifestyle, but I’m sure you didn’t know about all his struggles and health challenges.

That’s how life is. We often compare our lives to others, forgetting that life doesn’t come with perfection, reason why everyone goes through difficult times. So, instead of envying others, we should focus on watering our own grass and building our own path, for as long as there is life, hope follows. And always remember the story of the poor boy who didn’t have clothes to wear, but was gifted clothes by a rich boy who didn’t have life ahead of him.

PARROTS GOOD FLYER THAN EAGLES

A proud parrot approached an eagle, and said to him.

“I can fly high over the tallest trees in the world. How high can you fly?”

The eagle said.

“Well, I’m not really a good flyer, so I can barely reach the tallest trees”

The parrot burst out laughing.

“Oh, what a shame… I can’t believe that I fly higher than most birds in the kingdom. I’m so blessed” he bragged.

“You’re really blessed” the eagle uttered.

The following day, the parrot approached the eagle again and said to him.

“How about if I teach you how to fly high, so you can reach the tallest trees just like me?”

“That would be awesome. Please do” the eagle whistled.

Then the eagle went along with the parrot and they both started flying while the parrot demonstrated. But the parrot was completely astonished when the eagle flew and flew with strength, so high until he was invincible. The parrot couldn’t believe his eyes.

When the eagle finally landed, the parrot, filled with remorse and shame, asked.

“You’re a genius. Why didn’t you tell me all along?”

The eagle smiled, then said.

“That’s the difference between an eagle and a parrot. I’m an eagle and I don’t talk much. I don’t brag, I only know my worth and I believe in it. I am known for my power and ability to fly at high altitudes in the sky. Are you surprised? Well, I am the only bird that will fly above the storm clouds… When other birds find shelter during the rain, I avoid the rain by flying above the clouds. I can travel extremely high up to where the air is much thinner, then I move more oxygen through my body by pushing more blood into my bloodstream with every beat of my heart”

Moral of the Story:

Don’t be a talkative parrot that brags a lot. Be humble and silent like the eagle. Don’t waste your time proving your worth to anyone. The time will prove you, what you are and what you can be.

SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE NOT WITH DEVICES

“I spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn’t resist myself and asked…

”Dad, why don’t we activate your internet banking?”

”Why would I do that?” He asked… Back to homepage

”Well, then you wont have to spend an hour here for things like transfer.

You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!”

I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking.

He asked ”If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house?

”Yes, yes”! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything!

His answer left me tongue-tied.

He said ”Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the staff who know me very well by now.

You know I am alone…this is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave.

Two years back I got sick, The store owner from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried.

When your Mom fell down few days back while on her morning walk. Our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live.

Would I have that ‘human’ touch if everything became online?

Why would I want everything delivered to me and force me to interact with just my computer?

I like to know the person that I’m dealing with and not just the ‘seller’. It creates bonds of Relationships.

Does Amazon deliver all this as well?”’

Technology isn’t life..

Spend time with people .. Not with devices.

EAGLES CAN TEACH

Six Leadership Principles that we can learn from Eagles

1. Eagles fly Alone and at High Altitudes.

They don’t fly with sparrows, ravens, and other small birds.

MEANING; Stay away from narrow-minded people, those that bring you down. Eagle flies with Eagles. Keep good company. Back to homepage

2. Eagles have an Accurate Vision. They have the ability to focus on something as far as 5km away. No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it.

MEANING; Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacles and you will succeed.

3. Eagles do not Eat Dead things. They Feed only on Fresh Prey.

MEANING; Do not rely on your past success, keep looking for new frontiers to conquer. Leave your past where it belongs, in the past.

4. Eagles Love the Storm.

When clouds gather, the eagle gets excited, the eagle uses the storms wind to lift itself higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagle uses the raging storm to lift itself above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. In the meantime, all the other birds hide in the branches and leaves of the tree.

MEANING; Face your challenges head on knowing that these will make you emerge stronger and better than you were. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid of challenges, rather they relish them and use them profitably.

5. Eagles Prepare for Training;

They remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young ones get uncomfortable in preparation for flying and eventually flies/ when it becomes unbearable to stay in the nest./

MEANING; Leave your Comfort Zone, there is No Growth there.

6. When the Eagle Grows Old,

His feathers becomes weak and cannot take him as fast and as high as it should. This makes him weak and could make him die. So he retires to a place far away in the mountains. While there, he plucks out the weak feathers on his body and breaks its beaks and claws against the rocks until he is completely bare; a very bloody and painful process. Then he stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, new beaks and claws and then he comes out flying higher than before.

MEANING; We occasionally need to shed off old habit no matter how difficult, things that burden us or add no value to our lives should be let go of.

HURRIED JUDGMENT😮🤦‍♂️🤷‍♀️

I learnt something about HURRIED JUDGEMENT vs DELAYED JUDGEMENT weeks ago.

A little girl was holding two apples with both hands. Her mum came and asked her little daughter with a smile; “Baby, could you give your mum one of your two apples? The girl looked up at her mum for some seconds, then she suddenly took a quick bite on one apple & then quickly a bite on the other apple. Back to homepage

The mum was disappointed & the smile on her face disappeared. Then the little girl handed one of her bitten apples to her mum & said “Mummy, take this one. This is the sweeter one.”

From the mum’s HURRIED JUDGEMENT, the little girl is either selfish or greedy.

No matter who you are, how experienced you are & how knowledgeable you think you are, always DELAY JUDGEMENT; Give others the privilege to explain themselves. What you see may not be the reality.

Never conclude for others. Which is why we should never only focus on the surface & judge others without understanding them first. Those who like to pay the bill, do so not because they are loaded but because they value friendship above money.

Those who take the initiative at work, do so not because they are stupid but because they understand the concept of responsibility. Those who apologize first after a fight or quarrel do so not because they are wrong but because they value the people around them.

Those who are willing to help you, do so not because they owe you any thing but because they see you as a true friend. Those who often text you, do so not because they have nothing better to do but because you are in their heart.

Those who take out time to chat with you, does not mean they are jobless or less busy, but they know the importance of keeping in touch. One day, all of us will get  separated  from each other; we will miss our conversations of everything & nothing; the dreams that we had.

WHAT KILLED THE FROG?

Put a frog into a vessel fill with water and start heating the water. As the temperature of the water begins to rise, the frog adjust its body temperature accordingly. Back to homepage

The frog keeps adjusting its body temperature with the increasing temperature of the water. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog cannot adjust anymore. At this point the frog decides to jump out. The frog tries to jump but it is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising water temperature. Very soon the frog dies.

What killed the frog?

Think about it!

I know many of us will say the boiling water. But the truth about what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when to jump out.

We all need to adjust with people & situations, but we need to be sure when we need to adjust & when we need to move on. There are times when we need to face the situation and take appropriate actions.

If we allow people to exploit us physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually or mentally they will continue to do so.

Let us decide when to jump!

Let’s jump while we still have the strength.

“I asked, ‘Why?“

HAPPINESS IS SOMETHING YOU DECIDE OVER TIME

Simple steps to happiness:

The beautiful, well-versed 83 year old lady, fully dressed every morning at 8 am sharp, with her hair done in fashion and perfectly applied makeup, is moving to a retirement home. Her husband recently died, which motivated her move.

After many hours of patiently waiting in the hall of the home, she smiled sweetly, when told her room was ready.

As she moved her walker toward the elevator, she was given a detailed description of her small room, including the curtains hanging from her window.

′′ I love it “,

she said, with the enthusiasm of a 8-year-old girl who was just handed over a new pet. Mrs. Jones; you haven’t seen the room, just wait. – That doesn’t matter, she replied.

Back to homepage

Happiness is something you decide over time. Whether or not I like my room doesn’t depend on how the furniture is arranged, it depends on how I arrange my mind.

I’ve already decided that I like it. It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have the choice; I can spend the day in bed, going through

the difficulty I have with my body parts

that don’t work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the parts that do work.

Every day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I will focus on the new day and the happy memories I’ve stored just for this time in my life.

HAPPINESS is like a bank account: you withdraw from it, what you deposit.

So my advice would be to deposit a lot of happiness into your memory account.

Remember these five simple things:

1. Free your heart from hate and discord.

2. Free your mind from worries.

3. Live simply.

4. Give more.

5. Take less.

HAPPINESS IS A STATE OF MIND

Happiness, often considered the ultimate pursuit in life, is an intricate and subjective experience that has fascinated philosophers, psychologists, and individuals alike. Frequently depicted as an elusive concept, happiness transcends material possessions and external circumstances. Instead, it resides within the realm of the mind, making it a profoundly personal and subjective state. This essay will delve into the depths of happiness, exploring its inherent nature as a state of mind and shedding light on the factors that contribute to its attainment. Back to homepage

Defining Happiness: At its core, happiness is an emotional state characterized by a sense of contentment, joy, and overall well-being. However, it is crucial to recognize that happiness is not a fixed destination but rather a dynamic journey. It is not a constant state, as humans naturally experience a range of emotions. Instead, happiness is a fleeting yet deeply satisfying state of mind that emerges through various influences, both internal and external.

The Mind’s Dominance: Happiness emanates from the intricate workings of the human mind. It is an amalgamation of thoughts, perceptions, beliefs, and attitudes that shape our interpretation of the world. As renowned philosopher and Stoic, Marcus Aurelius, once proclaimed, “The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.” Our mental state significantly influences how we perceive and respond to external circumstances, ultimately determining our happiness.

Internal Factors: Numerous internal factors contribute to the cultivation of happiness. Firstly, self-awareness plays a pivotal role. Understanding one’s values, strengths, and passions empowers individuals to align their actions and pursuits with their authentic selves, fostering a deep sense of fulfillment. Additionally, practicing gratitude allows individuals to shift their focus towards the positive aspects of life, leading to an enhanced sense of happiness. Embracing optimism and cultivating resilience further fortify the mind against adversity, enabling individuals to bounce back and maintain a positive outlook.

External Factors: While happiness primarily resides within the mind, external factors can influence its presence and intensity. Relationships, for instance, are an essential external factor that significantly impacts our happiness. Connecting with loved ones, fostering meaningful relationships, and experiencing a sense of belonging can elevate one’s emotional well-being. Moreover, engaging in activities that align with personal passions and values, pursuing personal growth, and achieving a sense of purpose contribute to an enriched life experience, augmenting overall happiness. Back to homepage

The Pursuit of Happiness: The pursuit of happiness is a lifelong journey, an ongoing process of self-discovery, growth, and adaptation. It requires individuals to cultivate a positive mindset, consciously nurture internal and external factors, and develop resilience in the face of challenges. Rather than seeking happiness as a destination, individuals are encouraged to embrace the present moment, finding joy in the journey itself.

In conclusion, happiness is indeed a state of mind, a deeply personal and subjective experience that arises from the intricate workings of our thoughts and emotions. It transcends material possessions and external circumstances, drawing strength from within. By cultivating self-awareness, practicing gratitude, fostering positive relationships, pursuing personal growth, and embracing the present moment, individuals can navigate the complex terrain of happiness. Ultimately, the pursuit of happiness invites us to embark on a lifelong journey of self-discovery, as we unravel the depths of our own minds to find the true essence of fulfillment and contentment.

THE POWER OF GRADUAL REDIRECTION

The artist dedicated an impressive eight years of his life to crafting a unique and remarkable tree chair using a method known as gradual redirection. This technique involves skillfully shaping the branches of a tree as they grow in accordance with specific designs, resulting in a functional yet aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture.

As I reflect on the artist’s painstaking process, I am reminded of the age-old principle found in the Bible that emphasizes the importance of training children in a particular way. The proverb advises that if you teach a child according to the way they should go, they will never stray from it as they grow older. The idea is to mold the character of a child while they are still pliable and open to direction, as it is much more difficult to shape and influence a person’s character once they have become set in their ways. Back to homepage

In the same way that the artist was able to mold the branches of the tree chair as they grew, it is critical to shape the character of a child while their will is still supple and responsive to guidance. By doing so, you can gradually and intentionally guide them towards the desired direction. In contrast, attempting to train an older person or alter the growth direction of an established tree is exceedingly challenging, if not impossible. Like big trees with inflexible branches, older individuals are less likely to change course, making it essential to invest time and effort into molding children’s characters while they are still receptive to direction.

DOES AMAZON DELIVER ALL THESE AS WELL?

I had spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn’t resist myself & asked…

”Dad, why don’t we activate your internet banking?”

”Why would I do that?” He asked…

Candy Testing Experiment Done To Small Children

What could be the result?

Humans, regardless of their age, are susceptible to temptation and have difficulties in controlling their emotions and behaviors. In the case of children, they are still in the process of developing their self-regulation skills, which means they have less ability to resist immediate impulses and may act on their desires without considering the consequences. Back to homepage

However, adults are not immune to temptation either. They face various challenges in their daily lives that can trigger their impulses, such as stress, anxiety, frustration, and boredom. These emotions can lead to impulsive behaviors, such as overeating, overspending, substance abuse, or engaging in risky activities.

Moreover, social and environmental factors can also affect adults’ ability to control their temptations. For instance, social pressure, peer influence, and exposure to advertising or media can increase the desire for certain goods or activities, making it challenging to resist the temptation.

Overall, the ability to control one’s impulses and handle emotions is a critical skill that requires practice and self-awareness. Both children and adults can benefit from learning strategies to manage their emotions, resist temptations, and make thoughtful decisions that align with their long-term goals and values.
