  • On May 8th, my heart holds a special pleasure,
  • It’s my dad’s birthday, though he’s no longer here,
  • May 8th echoes with memories so dear.
  • In simple ways, we celebrated each year,
  • With love that flowed, and never any fear,
  • A close-knit family, with three sisters true,
  • Each unique, with respect that forever grew.
  • Teasing and laughter, we shared it all,
  • No fights or anger, just love to enthrall,
  • May 8th may come and go, but memories stay,
  • Of a family that valued love in every way.
  • So, here’s to my dad, on his special day,
  • May his memories bring warmth and light our way,
